A Cub Scout meeting suggestion for the “Join in Jamboree”, years ago when the World Jamboree was being held in Japan, had us getting the kids to make a “passport” for themselves. It was a very simple concept, where you print the details onto one sheet of paper and then fold it into a booklet. It’s easier to show than tell, so please check out this video. I loved the idea and have used it to make mini poetry books and a science booklet. The latter was an awesome addition to the party favours for my son’s Science Party. Months later, I was told one of the guests had pulled it out when he was doing science experiments at home.
Do you have your own ideas about what you’d like to create? It’s easy enough to create your own. You just have to fold up a blank one and then write the page numbers on each before unfolding. If you use Microsoft Word, here’s my template so you don’t need to bother with those steps.
